Paul Pizzo aka Polly von Acoker, is a Founding Member of the DFW Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence. Pizzo, a Beaumont native, moved to Dallas in 1986, majoring in Occupational Therapy at Texas Women's University. Born a Texan, and never wanting to live anywhere else, Pizzo decided that Dallas was home, the political temperament of the state notwithstanding. Though Pizzo grew up in the Catholic Church, he has no tales of prieslty abuse to share. Church teachings did, though, ingrain in Pizzo a desire to do right and help others.
