Paul J Williams tells his story for special Outrageous Oral, Thursday, May 21, 2015, in the Rose Room at S4, Dallas, TX. Outrageous Oral is a quarterly evening of poignant memories and stories from Dallas' GLBT past. The Dallas Way is committed to our mission to gather, store, organize, and present the complete GLBT history of Dallas, Texas.
Paul J. Williams is a gifted comedian, actor and singer based in Dallas. As a comedian, he has appeared on countless RSVP Cruises, multiple comedy clubs across the US and on the LOGO Network comedy special, ONE NIGHT STAND UP. As an actor, he has been seen in comedies, musicals and dramas at many theaters in Dallas. As a classically trained tenor, Paul J. has performed with Orpheus Chamber Singers and the Turtle Creek Chorale. Paul J. often appears as one of his alter egos, including Sister Helen Holy of the First Southern Fried Self Satisfied Baptist Church, or Nelda Pickens, the chain smoking, bee-hived Texas realtor/business woman. Most importantly, all of his successes began with the LGBT community of Dallas, Texas of which he has been an active participant since the mid-1980's. When not doing any of these incredibly creative things, he works as a secretary at a major law firm in Dallas....... which is true, but not really very funny.
